Toodyay Music Festival Venue: Duidgee Park & Stirling Park

Saturday March 25, 2017 marks the date of the first annual Toodyay Music Fest. With stages in Duidgee and Stirling Parks for bands and various other performers, St Stephens Church will open its doors for those who prefer to be entertained by classical and easy listening music. The streets of Toodyay will be lined with buskers to entertain those that are dining in our cafes and for shoppers alike.

A variety of food and drinks will be available for festival goers from a variety of vendors. There will also be stalls for those that wish to purchase music festival wares.

The Toodyay Music Fest kicks off at 11 am and ends at 9pm with what promises to be a fun and exciting free family community event. With bands such as Another Fine Mess, The Blue Hornets and the finale being The Australian Beatles tribute band and Jumping Jack Flash Rolling Stones tribute band. There will be music of all genres to suit everyone's liking and many local artists will be performing also.

Bring a rug or chairs and share a great day out with your friends and family and help make Toodyay shine.

Visit Toodyay's colonial festival celebrating the life of the infamous bushranger, Moondyne Joe.

The local Toodyay people dress in 1800 century costume & contribute to the festivals street theatre to ensure that the Moondyne Festival is a great success. Join in the fun and festivities as Moondyne Joe and his gang.

Don't forget to pay The Old Gaol a visit and enjoy the authentic surroundings and original artefacts. Retrace Toodyay's colourful past may discover some secrets?. Programme will be available at Toodyay Visitor Centre and Moondyne Information Booth on Stirling Tce.

Commences 9am and ends at 3.30 pm with the grand parade.

SPECIAL TRAIN SERVICE: There will be a special Avonlink train service as part of the Toodyay Moondyne Festival activities







Tooyay Fibre Festival

Venue: Memorial Hall & Stirling Park

The Toodyay Fibre Festival is held from 10am-3.30pm over 4 venues in 2016. The Memorial Hall will host stalls relating to fibre as well as Fashion Shows.

The CWA  hall will host quilting displays by the Mundaring Nutters and St Stephens Church will host craft and quilting displays by the Toodyay Ragbags

2017 Avon Descent this weekend

The Avon Descent is the world's longest white water event and contains both motor boats and manual powered kayaks. Sit on the banks of the Avon River or watch from the many bridges in and around Toodyay. Feel the prickle of excitement as the competitors battle vicious rapids and harrowing tree infested shallows. Catch all the action in Toodyay. At the same time enjoy the culinary delights of the International Food Festival at Duidgee Park on the banks of the river between 10 am and 4 pm. There is plenty of parking for coaches and a heated marquee awaits you while you dine. Free children's activities, dance demonstrations, live musicians and a live race commentary - a guaranteed perfect day in Toodyay!

Avon Decent Toodyay International Food Festival

We have created a great package with Windward Balloon Adventures which is available at special rates for either a Tuesday or Wednesday morning flight together with our amazing accommodation experience.

2 nights accommodation at Black Wattle Retreat, dinner on both nights, breakfast on one morning, ballooning on the other with a champagne breakfast after the flight. On weekends you could expect to pay over $1200.00 for this combination for 2 but on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from April til November it is just $950.00 per couple.

Ballooning always is subject to weather conditions and postponements happen, we understand.

Toodyay Agricultural Show

The Toodyay Agricultural Show offers a forum for local businesses and producers to exhibit, display and participate in different arenas, eg. cattle, sheep, goats, home produce and many more.

The Show displays unique exhibits by local artists and crafters and has an extensive entertainment programme. Experience a country show and enjoy the entertainment, displays and exhibitions.

Entertainment continues through the evening. Bar opens at midday and closes at 9pm.

If you are interested in becoming a stallholder at the Show please email Secretary All stall holders must be set up by 9am and their vehicles off the showgrounds.

No dogs allowed.
